Como gerenciar serviços e unidades ‘Systemd’ usando ‘Systemctl’ no Linux


Systemctl é um utilitário systemd responsável por controlar o sistema systemd e o gerenciador de serviços. Systemd é uma coleção de daemons, utilitários e bibliotecas de gerenciamento de sistema que serve como um substituto do daemon System V init. Systemd funciona como plataforma central de gerenciamento e configuração para sistemas semelhantes a UNIX.

No Linux, o ecossistema Systemd foi implementado na maior parte da distribuição padrão do Linux, com algumas exceções. Systemd é o processo pai de todos os outros daemons frequentemente, mas nem sempre.

Este artigo tem como objetivo esclarecer “Como controlar sistemas e serviços” em um sistema executando o systemd.

Começando com Systemtd e Systemctl Basics

1. Primeiro, verifique se o systemd está instalado em seu sistema ou não, e qual é a versão do Systemd atualmente instalado?

systemctl --version

systemd 215

Está claro no exemplo acima que temos a versão systemd 215 instalada.

2. Verifique onde os binários e bibliotecas de systemd e systemctl estão instalados.

whereis systemd 
systemd: /usr/lib/systemd /etc/systemd /usr/share/systemd /usr/share/man/man1/systemd.1.gz


whereis systemctl
systemctl: /usr/bin/systemctl /usr/share/man/man1/systemctl.1.gz

3. Verifique se o systemd está em execução ou não.

Aviso: o systemd está sendo executado como daemon pai (PID=1). No comando ps acima com (-e) selecione todos os processos, (-a) selecione todos os processos exceto líderes de sessão e ( -f) para listagem de formato completo (ou seja, -eaf).

Além disso, observe os colchetes no exemplo acima e no restante dos exemplos a seguir. A expressão entre colchetes faz parte da correspondência de padrões de classe de caracteres do grep.

4. Analise o processo de inicialização do systemd.

systemd-analyze

5. Analise o tempo gasto por cada processo na inicialização.

6. Analise a cadeia crítica na inicialização.

Importante: Systemctl aceita serviços (.service), ponto de montagem (.mount), soquetes (. >.socket) e dispositivos (.device) como unidades.

7. Liste todas as unidades disponíveis.

9. Liste todas as unidades com falha.

LOAD   = Reflects whether the unit definition was properly loaded.
ACTIVE = The high-level unit activation state, i.e. generalization of SUB.
SUB    = The low-level unit activation state, values depend on unit type.

1 loaded units listed. Pass --all to see loaded but inactive units, too.
To show all installed unit files use 'systemctl list-unit-files'.

10. Verifique se uma unidade (cron.service) está habilitada ou não?.

11. Verifique se uma Unidade ou Serviço está funcionando ou não?.

Observação: quando usamos comandos como iniciar, reiniciar, parar e reload com systemctl, não obteremos nenhuma saída no terminal, o único comando status imprimirá a saída.

14. Como ativar um serviço e ativar ou desativar um serviço durante a inicialização (serviço de inicialização automática na inicialização do sistema).
